Leicester’s 2nd annual KIRTAN FEST, along with their 24 Hour Kirtan took place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September 2013.

The Kirtan Fest is a week long festival which takes place at different venues all over Leicestershire – including parks, hospitals, bars and cafes! The festival began on Friday, 20th September and culminated with the 24 Hour Kirtan on the following weekend.
A maha inaugural yajna ceremony took place on Saturday 28th at 10am, in the presence of His Holiness Jayadvaita Swami and senior devotees from all over the UK.
This was an exciting beginning of a new journey for ISKCON in Leicester, as they took a few steps closer to bringing Jagannath Baladev Subhadraji and Sri Sri Pancatattva into Their wonderful permanent home!
Kirtan lovers were travelling across from all over the country to sing and dance in the heart of England. Kirtaniyas included Amala Harinam Darling, Nadiya Mani Darling, Nimai Gadhvi, Ananda Monet, Ranchor Prabhu, Mandali Group, Streets of Nadia, Gopibhava Devi Dasi, Ravi Pattni and many devotees from all over the Midlands and beyond.
