Chant for Change – International Kirtan Festival is a global Kirtan event aimed at bringing people together from various races, faiths and nationalities for chanting the names of God, a process that is common to all faiths of the world. The event is also a celebration of the changing of the Deities in one of India’s most important temples, Sri Jagannath Mandir in Puri, Odisha.
By the Lord’s mercy, this is a major opportunity to unify various proponents and practitioners of dharma for the cause of spreading the yuga-dharma of nama-sankirtana. On July 18th (Nabakalebara) day, all the 4 Vaishnav Sampradayas along with other groups will be performing Sankirtan to welcome Lord Jagannath, Baldev & Subadra in their new form, in their temples and mathas around the world.
