We have just uploaded 80 new Kirtans from the 2nd half of 2018, recorded by Radhe Syam Vilasa Prabhu at Krishna Balaram Mandir in Vrindavan. To listen to them, just tune in on our website or your preferred method of listening to 24 Hour Kirtan Radio. Today, we also upgraded the radio player on the 24hourkirtan.fm website, so it now shows the singer and location information again. This didn’t work because the radio streaming server was not yet upgraded to support HTTPS (Transport Layer Security).
Listener Statistics 2018
During the month of November 2018 for the first time since starting 24 Hour Kirtan Radio we had more than 20’000 unique listeners in one single month, i.e. more than 620 hours of Kirtan listend to every single day in almost 90 different countries around the world.
Here’s the top 30 countries from the month of November 2018. The number of hits in this statistics does not refer to unique listeners, but to overall listens. I’m also not sure if US really only refers to listeners from the US, but it’s still an interesting overview of where we’re listened to a lot.
It’s also interesting to note that although we have more hits in Germany than e.g. in Russia, but Russians seem to listen 3 times longer than Germans.
