Upcoming International Kirtan Festivals

Abhisheka in Goloka Dhama on Janmasthami

The summer in Europe ended with another Kirtan Mela in Germany this time held at Goloka Dham from September 1st through 4th, 2015, featuring Sacinandana Swami, Kadamba Kanana Swami, Dina Sharana, Badahari, Sarvatma, Ojasvi, Madhavananda, Ramanji and many other wonderful Kirtaniyas. We’re still looking for someone with good quality recordings, so if you happen to know that someone, please get in touch.

Here’s a quick overview of the upcoming Kirtan events for the rest of September as well as October and November which might very well be broadcasted live on Mayapur TV. If you’re looking for high quality recordings of international Kirtan festivals, 24 Hour Kirtan Radio is your first choice. We’re constantly adding new recordings and also provide most of them as digital downloads.

Bhakti Fest West

Bhakti Fest West takes place this weekend on September 9 through 14 at Joshua Tree in California. It is a premier yoga, sacred music, and personal growth festival in the United States. Since 2009, for six days each September, they have featured the best Yoga Teachers, Kirtan Musicians, and Workshop Leaders in the world. They are part of the Center for Spiritual Studies, a 501c3 nonprofit that supports charities across the globe, mainly in India. Proceeds generated each year, after we cover our costs, go to our chosen causes.
Bhakti Fest celebrates the devotional paths of yoga, Kirtan and meditation. Their festival is a drug and alcohol free vehicle for evolution of human consciousness through a heart-centered revolution. Bring your yoga mats to the idyllic Joshua Tree Retreat Center, located in the beautiful region east of Los Angeles. Practice with the best yoga teachers in the world, dance to sacred music by world-renown Kirtan artists, and take workshops with leaders in the field of personal growth. Camp out beneath the stars or stay at one of Their many accommodations on and offsite; enjoy the swimming pool and free filtered drinking water; stop in at The Bhakti Family Village and expose your children to other enlightened youth and families; enjoy the best vegetarian food at any festival.

The project KIRTAN BRASIL has been developed since 2008 with great success. From October 10th through 12th it will take place again at beautiful New Gokula Dhama in Pindamonhangaba. This is the main local ISKCON project and the biggest Vaishnava community in South America. Located among huge mountains and in a preserved green area, the farm has a big temple with Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda, Sita Ram Lakshman, Hanuman and Gaura Nitai as well as a Puspa Samadhi of Srila Prabhupada.

Beyond the special Kirtan program visitors have access to basic facilities such as guest houses, restaurants, kids’ programs, the Yamuna river, a huge rainforest and very nice association.

This year the organizers are happy to have Amala Kirtan (Austin), Uttama Bhakta (New Orleans), Jana Priya (Brazil) and other great Kirtanyas who will for sure provide good energy for the festival.
